“Layers of Being” is an immersive performance art installation that explores the complexity of existence through sound, light, video projections, mirrors, reflections, live music, and dance. The piece reveals the multifaceted layers of the human experience, inviting the audience to reflect on their identities, beliefs, and perceptions in a constantly shifting environment.
The sound score, layered with live music, evolves throughout the performance, shaping the emotional landscape. Light and video projections interact with the performers and space, creating fragmented reflections on surrounding surfaces. Mirrors symbolize layers of consciousness, memory, and identity, while live music and dance bring these concepts to life in real-time.
“Layers of Being” encourages the audience to witness the fluidity of existence, questioning how our memories, identities, and experiences overlap, transform, and interact over time.
The audience is encouraged to experience the performance from various perspectives, whether standing or sitting, and is welcome to engage for any length of time.
